description

Two sided tract titled "How Not to Cook Something : Lessons Learned the Hard Way," by Aleksandra Mir published as one of sixty tracts produced by various artists as part of Lisa Ann Auerbach's project "The Tract House," shown in conjunction with the exhibition "Cottage Industry," curated by Kristin Chambers, held at the Contemporary Museum, Baltimore, in 2008. In 2009 Mir published an expanded version titled "The How Not To Cookbook: Lessons Learned the Hard Way," a large scale artist's book of brief cooking lessons and bits of advice and warnings compiled by Mir from over 1000 contributors from all over the world.
